Our Services Executive Training

Seminars

Throughout the year, the Trade Center team provides an ongoing series of export seminars, certificate courses, and specialized on-site company training. Please visit our Calendar of Events section for upcoming seminars. You can also ask to be placed on our email list to receive reminders of upcoming seminars and events.

If you are new to exporting, we recommend that you attend the day-long Introduction to Exporting class and an Export Documentation workshop. We also offer seminars on How to Get Paid, Letters of Credit and Export Compliance & Licensing. For the more experienced exporters, we keep you abreast of the latest developments in the global arena through our country specific programs, international sales seminars and networking events.

Export Logistics Certification Course

A comprehensive course designed for participants to become certified in all aspects of export logistics. The Export Logistics Certification Course consists of five full-day training sessions. Topics covered range from export documentation, U.S. Department of State licensing, U.S. Department of Commerce licensing, NAFTA, free trade agreements & embargoes, and the Automated Export System to import compliance issues. A final exam is taken on the last day of training and consists of approximately 50 questions. Upon successful completion of the exam, participants receive an Export Logistics Certificate, endorsed by the State of New Hampshire's International Trade Resource Center and Southern New Hampshire University.

Executive Strategy Series
 

This program offers executives the opportunity to obtain information regarding strategic issues involved in running an export business.  The Series will consist of five half day classes taking place over the course of 2 months.  Two attendees from a company will be able to attend each series and the attendees may be interchanged so that the most appropriate company representative can be present for the topic of discussion.
